Website Administrators are given Domain Administrator access to SmarterMail and can manage email acccounts for their organization. Users may check email using any of these methods:
- Via the web by accessing https://firehouse.email.
- Via an email pc client, such as Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, eM Client, etc.
- Via a smartphone or handheld device such as Android or iPhone
We now offer Exchange support for Microsoft Outlook 2016 and Microsoft Outlook 2019. When adding your account to Outlook, select
the Exchange icon and use your SmarterMail login credentials. Once connected, Outlook will synchronize email, folders, contacts, global contacts, tasks, notes, and shortcuts.
Firehouse Solutions recommends using IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol). IMAP synchronizes messages and folders
with the mail server, allowing you to manage email across multiple devices.

The following settings are recommended for secure device synchronization:
